@The mind has not been elucidated completely by the present level of modern science yet. It is sure that the mind is related to brain functions, but we can't know where the mind, that is me, is in the brain. There may be such an existance which is called the soul and it may be the essence of the mind.
@No one knows what the essence of the mind is and what exists in the deep parts of the mind. The mind is an unknown world for human beings.
@In the 21st century we will be able to know the mind more. The more we know about the mind, the richer our lives will become. That is because many problems which modern society now has and most of the miserable incidents which have happened in human history, have been caused by human minds. If the mind is elucidated more and peoples' minds mature, the world will be a more comfortable place.

@The mind is a kind of blackbox, which responds to stimulation from outside. Responding to stimulation from outside and inside (such as drive, desire and physical demand), the mind puts out emotions, thoughts and actions.(Fig.1)
@But the mind is not a mere "stimulus-response system". The structure and function of the mind is changed by the accumulation of memories. The mind has a nature that is growing up. I think that it is the main characteristic of the mind.

Fig.1 Blackbox as Model of the Mind

@Anyone who is bothered by mental problems, please think about them from the viewpoint that the mind is growing up. Human beings as a whole are growing up, and everyone is in their own process of growing. Any stressful events and worries are the fertilizer for mental growth. Any psychological and physical symptoms are messages from the deep parts of the mind.

@Those who have problems that can't be handled by the person alone, please seek the help of a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist. No one can live by themselves alone. Everyone needs someone's help sometimes. When it rains hard, we need a place to take shelter from the rain.

"Why are we living?" "What is the purpose in life?"@Some people are bothered by such questions. The answer to such questions hasn't been given to human beings. I think that life is a process to look for the meaning and purpose of it, attempting to live a life which is the most suitable for one's character, @Everyone is a traveler, who is seeking the meaning and purpose of life, attempting to live a life that is most suitable for themselves.
